Corey was born May 12,1979 in Luverne Alabama to Charles Wright and Mary Helen Foster. He was raised by his stepfather, Shirley V. Johnson.

Corey is a 1997 East High School graduate. He was married to Tanisha Lyle Foster June 21, 2008.

Corey leaves behind to cherish his memory; wife, Tanisha Foster; daughters, Raven Gilliam, Corynne Foster Lyle and Kalani Foster; stepchildren, Isaiah Lyle and Lawrence Young Lyle; stepfather, Shirley V. Johnson; brother, Justin Johnson and sister, Stephanie J. Foster; aunts, Anna Jean Foster-Ballard and La-Tanya Foster Johnson; uncle,Willie E. Foster Sr.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Foster Johnson; grandfather, Frank Foster Sr; grandmother, Mary Alice Foster; uncle, Frank Foster Jr.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00am at Cathedral of Hope , 1315 Jacobs Rd. Youngstown, OH 44505.
