Floyd Franklin Shields III passed on June 12, 2021. Floyd was born January 10, 1965 to Floyd Franklin Shields and Viola Shields (Hushower) in Youngstown Ohio. He is an East High School graduate and was a handyman.

Floyd had a “heart of gold” and would do anything to help someone in need. He was a Bible Baptist who loved his family and grandchildren deeply. Floyd also loved his furbabies.

Floyd is survived by his mother, Viola Shields; Fiance’ Ruth Ebert; sons Floyd Franklin Shields IV of Cortland, Ohio and Cody Shields of Struthers, Ohio; daughters, Ashley Shields of Youngstown, Ohio and Kelli Payne of Youngstown Ohio; stepchildren, Jared Ebert and Ashlynn Ebert of Boardman Ohio; brothers Gregory Shields of Youngstown and Dennis Shields (Gloria) of Youngstown Ohio; sisters Sally (brother - in lawTed) , Jamie Kountz (brother -in-law Gale) of Youngstown Ohio. And 12 granddaughters and 2 grandsons and a host of family and friends.

Floyd is preceded in death by his father, brother, Eddie Shields and granddaughter Octavia Grace Shields.

Services will take place Friday, June 25, 2021 at 5:30pm at the Augustine Funeral Home, 75 E. Midlothian Blvd. Youngstown, Ohio 44507 (234)254-8403. Friends may call at 4:30pm.
