LaVerne venable-Harrison

LaVerne Venable Harrison AKA “Dirty Red”, was born in Youngstown Ohio to parents Russell Venable Sr. and Martha Venable. LaVerne was a homemaker who was an  extreme Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved playing Bingo. As Laverne heads home to the lord she leaves to cherish in her memory her two children, son Silverster Cox III, daughter Sharonda Cox and daughter-in-law Sonya Scott. She will also leave behind her nine grandchildren Sharhonda, Xavier, Sydney, Carena, Trinity, Jada,Timothy, Tamia, TaVon, and her four great grandchildren and 2 great-great grands.Siblings Hazel Pugh from Cleveland Ohio and Frank Venable from Youngstown Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father, her fiance Ronald Lee Courtney, and her siblings Russell Venable Jr., Gertrude Collins, Gloria North, Phillip Venable, Sandra Anderson, Mike Venable, and Clifford Venable.

She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends. The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support given to our family at this time.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 @12:00pm at Augustine Funeral Home, 75 E. Midlothian Blvd. Youngstown, OH 44507 (234) 254-8403. Friends may call at 11:00am.
