Zachariah Erskin Croom

Zachariah E. Croom, 16 of Youngstown OH born April 27, 2007 to Latonia Lake and Steve

Croom. Zachariah was a Junior at Chaney High school while practicing welding at Choffin

Technical Center. He was a very vibrant and energetic young man full of laughter and many

talents. He loved playing basketball, football, wrestling and video games. Although his life was

short lived he brought joy to everyone around him and will be deeply missed. He leaves to

cherish his memory his parents, his Mom /Aunt Linda Hollis, his brothers Authur Croom,

Desmond Lake, Earnest Croom, Clarence Croom, Delante Simms, Joseph Croom, Steve

Croom Jr. and, Stephon Jarvis. Sisters Tonya Lake Allen( Larese Allen Sr), Stephanie Croom-

Pierce (Toney Pierce) and LaKeysha Glass (Derrick). A host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews

and close friends. Special recognition to cousins Brandy Johnson, Shayvonna Edwards, Shavon

Hasley and a dear family friend, Ms. Tiffany Sokol.

He is preceded in death by his brother Damion Lake, uncles Keith Crockett Sr. and, Levon

Toney. His grandmothers Catherine Croom and Ethel Mae Rogers-Lake, Grandfathers Earnest

James- Spivey Robinsons and Author Williams.

Services will be held Friday February 2, 2024 at 12pm at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2432 S. Raccoon Rd. Youngstown, OH 44515. Friends may call at 10:00am.

Repast will be offered at the church directly following burial at Belmont Park Cemetery.
